Mr. Barksalot Bath Graph

Welcome to your Math Blog. It is a place for you to post answers to questions and to communicate to the world about what happens in 8-17 Math. I would like you to leave a comment answering the following question. Some of this work will have to be done in your math journal. The bold print can be left as a comment.

Bobby fills a sink with enough water to wash his dog Mr. Barksalot. He then puts Mr. Barksalot in the sink and washes him. After he is finished he takes Mr. Barksalot out of the sink. Then he drains the sink.

Draw a graph that represents the level of water in the sink from the time paula started to fill the tub until the tub was empty. Clearly label your graph.

Explain what the graph should look like in a comment on this post AND on the back of your graph.

Mr. Harbeck

The graph should have a title.(mr. barksalot's bath) A y axis(variable) labeled water level. Then it should have a x axis(constant) labeled events or time. Then it should have numbers written on the y axis and the names of the events on the x axis. It should have bars or a broken line to show where the water level is at the specifice event.

This graph is called "Mr. Barksalot's Bath." The Y axis is the water level and the X axis is the time, in minutes. The water level goes from 1 to 6 and the time goes from 1 to 10. First Bobby fills the sink to a third in 2 minutes. Then Bobby puts Mr. Barksalot's in the sink making the level of the water rise to a fourth because of Mr. Barksalot's weight. Bobby gives Mr. Barksalot's a bath for 6 minutes. Bobby then took Mr. Barksalot's out of the sink and drained the water out until the sink was empty, taking 2 more minutes. In end,the graph should look be a scalene triangle.

I think that the graph should have a title called "Mr.Barksalot's Bath Graph". Then the "Y" axis should be labled "Water Level" and then the "X" axis should be labled "time". After that there should be numbers on the y axis labling the water level . There should also be numbers on hte x axis saying the time . It then should have bars if you are doing a bar graph or a broken line if you are doing a broken line graph to indicate the water level at the certain time.

This graph should have labels. for the y axis it should be labeled the water level and on the x axis it should have the time. And the head title is Mr.Barksalot Bath Graph. Now every graph needs numbers so put numbers on the axis's and have dots, or bars, or lines showing what ever you want to show for your information.

The graph should be titled Mr. Barksalot's bath. The X axis is the constant which doesn't change. It should be labeled, Time and the Y axis is the variable which changes. It should be labeled water level. The Y axis should have numbers going up along the side and the X axis should have numbers going across the bottem which represent the amount of minutes or events. Now all you have to do is fill in the graph.
(Hey Mr.harbeck I based my graph on the amout of time it took to fill up my own sink with water and empty it).

Graphs must have labels. The first label is the title and in this case the title for this graph is, " Mr.Barksalot's Bath." The next label will be on the y axis which is the variable or the change. This axis will be labeled water level. The x axis is the last thing that will have to be labeled for this graph. The x axis is the constant. It will be labeled the time. The water level has numbers from 1-6 and the time has numbers from 1-10. If you're doing a bar graph you should have bars coming up from on top of the x axis. If you're doing a line graph you have a broken line again over your x axis to show the level the waters at, at that time.

The graph should be called "Mr. Barksalot's Bath level of water."
the Y axis is the amount of water un sinke X axis is the time through the bath time.

#1- Bobby fills the sink with water.
#2- Bobby puts Mr.B in the sink, Mr. B ocupies space so the level of the water in the sink should go higher.
#3- Bobby takes Mr.B out of the sink, because Mr. B is wet the water in the first step colum on the graph should go lower... (wet dog takes water because is wet so
the water after is down)

The graph should look like if broken lines (triangle)

The graph should have a title called "Mr. Barksalot Bar Graph". At the y axis it should be labeled water level and should have numbers from 1-10 and the x axis should be labeled time or events and should have numbers from 1-10 too. There should have bars or broken lines going through the graph to show where the water level is at that time.

Mr. Barksalot's bath graph should include a title, and it should look like it is rising to a certain point and eventually dropping back down to zero.

The graph is called Mr. Barksalot's bath graph.
The Y axis is the water level. The X axis is the time. The graph can be bar graph, dot graph or whatever you want, but you have to lable Y and X axis clearly.
