During this unit, I’ve learned multiple things about proportions and ratios. When we first got the blue booklet, I thought that it would have been difficult to do; the fact that I didn’t understand much about it. As time passed, I’ve learned how to use XKY charts, ratio tables, and equivalent fractions to solve problems. I also found proportions easier than I thought.
What I found easy was trying to complete the shapes in our blue booklet so that it is equivalent to the fraction given. What I found hard was reducing and enlarging the shape (like the one on the quiz) because it confused me a whole lot. This unit has taught me a lot on how to use these strategies to solve some problems in real life.
